Much to be Thankful For, Part II.

I thought it would be an appropriate day to post an update from last year's Much to be Thankful For post. This year has been full of joy for my hubby and I as we welcomed our sweet, healthy baby girl in January! She is so much fun and has completely changed our lives for the better. I'm also happy to report that after a recent check up and C/T scan, I remain cancer-free! God is good. Back in the Spring, the hospital where I had my surgery at called and asked if they could use my story as part of a new advertising campaign! Through this campaign, I got to share my story with greater Boston in newspaper ads, online ads, and even on a bill board! That was definitely a highlight of the past year. It's hard to believe that the time is already drawing to a close for us here in the North Shore, as my hubby graduates from seminary in a month! We will be packing up our bags and moving again in just a few weeks. We are so thankful for the church family that God gave us while living here and we are so sad to leave them. We know we will always have family here.

It's been a good year, after a very hard year. God was with us through each valley, and He'll continue to be with us always. Daily, I'm thankful that I have food for my family, shelter, and freedom to express these very thoughts without fear of persecution. Pray for those who have not.

I hope you and your family have a blessed Thanksgiving!
