offer, $2 off $2.01 or more purchase (available through 10/3). I tried it out and it worked perfectly... just type your phone number onto the keypass at checkout and the loaded coupons come off automatically.

I personally purchased three bright nail polishes for a part of a girly gift bag for Anna's fifth birthday (she loves painting her nails, but mommy's colors aren't always so exciting). Each nail polish was a dollar, but after the coupon and tax, I only paid $1.06 total for all 3! That's about 36 cents a bottle.

You could use this coupon to get a great deal on a grocery item, a cheap addition to an Operation Christmas Child shoe box, a stocking stuffer for your kids, or many other options since the Dollar General carries a variety of items. I was quite excited to see that Voice of the Martyrs now has an "I am N" tee shirt that you can buy to support the Christians being persecuted in Iraq! Print a $2/1 Lindt coupon (you can print it twice) to get Lindt truffles bags for only a $1 (on sale at $3). You can also pick up the Lindt bars of chocolate for 23 cents after coupon. These could make great stocking stuffers for Christmas.

Fru-Gal Christmas: Free Little Girl's Magic Wand Toy.

I love when the Shop your Way Rewards program adds free money to my card (usually every 4-6 months). I just received an e-mail a few days ago that they had added 5,000 points to my card (which equates to $5) to use at their participating stores: Sears, Kmart, and Lands' End. I headed to Kmart to pick out a toy for one of my kids. I ended up buying this magic wand for my daughter for Christmas, it cost exactly $5 so after the cashier scanned my card, it was free!

See two of my previous posts for how I did the same thing in the springtime to get a $.58 pink tulle skirt from Sears for Anna and a free car set for David, which I have yet to give them (saving also for Christmas gifts).

Clever frugality.

Sometimes I have some light-bulb frugal moments. I thought it was clever of me this week to stretch out the free twenty-five 4x6 prints deal from Walgreens by using an image editing program to get two family pictures on a 4x6 sized format. That way, I now have double the family pics for Christmas cards (in wallet size) and they were all free!

I love when I get random money from stores in my morning inbox! Sears sent me a $5 off $5 purchase a couple weeks ago where I got a cute skirt for my daughter for $.58! And today, Kohl's so kindly sent me a coupon for $10 off a $10 or more purchase including clearance items! Make sure to check your inbox, too, as I'm not sure how many they sent out! I stopped by this afternoon with my daughter and picked out a few little gifts, mainly for my nieces, that I needed still for birthdays/Christmas (I shop Christmas all year long)! My total was $1.18 after the $10 coupon and taxes.

My Trip to Target for $16.39!

I stopped at Target yesterday, mainly to pick up the inexpensive Playtex sippy cups (we have been needing new cups), but also found some other good deals! The really cute shawl sweater was on sale at $7.48 (on the clearance rack) and I used a $4/1 women's sweater apparel Q to get it for only $3.48! Here's all that I purchased for $16.39:

• women's sweater @ $3.48
• Playtex 2-pack sippy cups @ $1.44 (originally $5.44, used $2/1 Target Q and $2/1 manufacturer Q)
• (2) Curious George DVDs @ $3.25 each (on sale for $4.75, used a $3/2 manufacturer Q)
• Eucerin lotion was free after Q (originally $.97 in travel section, used $1/1 Target web coupon)
• (5) Hello Kitty products for a $1 each (in the Dollar Hot Spot, I thought these would complete a great birthday gift for one of my nieces, to go with the recent Hello Kitty watch and change purse deals)!

So there you have it! The Curious George DVDs will also be gifts, Anna will probably find one under the tree. The Eucerin lotion has gone in my donation stock pile for either a future blessing bag or disaster relief box.
