Is anyone else trying to get their free turkey at Shaws supermarkets? After yesterday's grocery trip, I have about $445 earned toward my $500 needed in groceries over the past month to get my $20 voucher for a free turkey! I'm not sure how this money is calculated, but I know that it must be before certain coupons are applied as I haven't actually spent $445. I see more frugal trips to Shaws this week (the deadline is Thursday, 11/18) to get my turkey!
Also, if you do shop at Shaws, there is a great deal on both Pillsbury items and Hamburger Helper (great for donation if you don't like H.H.)! The Pillsbury crescent rolls and H.H. are both under the Box Tops for Education promotion of buy 10 items, get $5 instant savings. When you buy a total of 10 crescent rolls and H.H. combined, then these items would be $1.00 each (they're on sale for $1.50 before the instant savings). Combine this with two current catalinas and coupons, and you have more than free crescent rolls and H.H.!

Use:

Total: $3.00
Get back $6 in catalinas for next time. This is a $3.00 moneymaker!
Even if you only wanted to buy these items and not use the dollar doublers, your total would be $7.00 and you would get back $6 in catalinas, making your 12 items $1.00 total.
