Fru-Gal's Kitchen: Dairy-free, Egg-free Chocolate Banana Snack Cake

Our family loves this recipe! My fru-gal friend, Ashleigh, sent it to us almost a year ago and I have made it countless times for a quick, easy, and delicious dessert. Perfect for entertaining, plus it's dairy & egg free!

Chocolate Banana Snack Cake
2 very ripe medium bananas
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 
2. Place bananas in ungreased 8-inch square pan; mash with fork. 
3. Stir in remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. 
4. Sprinkle chocolate chips over batter. 
5. Bake 35 to 37 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 45 minutes.

*I added powder sugar on top for an optional topping.

My husband is allergic to dairy, egg, tree nuts, peanuts, and some other random foods. Here's a look into my kitchen, as I cook frugally and allergy-free!
