Money Saving Mom: How to Get Started Playing the Drugstore Game!

Money Saving Mom (a.k.a. Crystal) recently did a Vlog post on How to Get Started Playing the Drugstore Game! Since I love playing the drugstore game and often promote it on my blog, I thought this might be a helpful video if you are new to the "game!"

What drugstore do you prefer to play the game at? Personally, I’m very fond of Rite Aid! Just yesterday, I walked out of my local store with two jumbo packs of Huggies diapers and a toothbrush for $.09, plus $7 in UP Rewards back! With their Video Values Qs, Single Check Rebates, and UP Rewards, I feel that as a business, they place a priority on couponing and are strategically marketing themselves to couponers. Thus, I have found that they tend to be more coupon friendly and have better deals each week!

Take advantage of all their programs and roll those UPRs! Get rain checks when an item is out of stock, so you can still get the deal (within 30 days I believe). Like Crystal said, read the corporate coupon policy and bring it with you to the store, no matter which store you shop at! I do this for Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Wal Mart, etc… and have often had to pull out my coupon policy to explain things to uninformed cashiers and even managers.

Start small, and watch as you get hooked with the drugstore game! It is a fun way to save a lot of money!

New to the Drugstore Game? Check out my How To and start playing!
