I had a cashier at Target last week who was a kind, elderly man. When he saw my first transaction ring up at under $2 after Qs, he exclaimed that a good shopper like me should have the Target Redcard, which saves you 5% on every purchase! I told him I had thought about it in the past, but never had signed up. He told me it could be a credit or debit card and it was an easy, sign up. So, I entered my information and signed up for my first credit card in a long while. He then informed me that I had saved 3 cents off of my second transaction of 73 cents.

Every little bit helps, right? I just paid off my 70 cent bill.
