50,000 people responded in the first two weeks of the Voice of the Martyrs' petition to free Asia Bibi, a Pakistani wife and mother who is the first woman in her country awaiting a death sentence for her Christian faith. VOM is seeking one million signatures to present to the Pakistani embassy in Washington, D.C. and to the Pakistani delegation to the United Nations.
