Pray for Youcef Nadarkhani, Iranian Pastor Awaiting Execution.

"Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering." -Hebrews 13:3

Iranian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani is currently awaiting a death sentence at any moment now. He has refused to recount his Christian faith at least four times now as he waits on death row. According to Fox News, "when asked to repent, Nadarkhani stated:

"Repent means to return. What should I return to? To the blasphemy that I had before my faith in Christ?"

"To the religion of your ancestors, Islam," the judge replied, according to the American Center for Law & Justice.

"I cannot," Nadarkhani said.

You can write Youcef a letter of encouragement at Voice of the Martyr's site, PrisonerAlert.com.
