Fru-Gal Tip: Think Reusable; Not Disposable.

Fru-Gal Tip: Think Reusable; Not Disposable.

There are many areas in our daily life where we can put this tip into practice! We will not only stretch our budget, but also save on waste! Think cloth napkins instead of paper. Cloth diapers instead of disposable. Washable swim diapers instead of disposable (or reuse the disposable a couple times by washing them). Cloth towels and wash cloths instead of paper towels and wipes. Dish cloths instead of sponges.

I'm still a fan of toilet paper however. :)

What else have I missed?

Here's a DIY Cloth Napkin Tutorial for the more crafty among us! I personally bought a 12-pack of cloth napkins around this time last year at Bed Bath and Beyond. I don't remember exactly what I paid for them, but the list price was $9.99 and I think they were on sale, plus I had a 20% off coupon. My one year old likes to now put these on her lap and it reminds me of the little girl in Titanic who was very proper.
