Some outside bird fun.

We were playing outside the other day and my 3 year old said, "Mom, look at the baby chicken!" There was a little baby bird sitting at the window inside our garage! It had gotten trapped in there overnight and we were able to get really close to it on the other side of the glass. He was pretty sweet. We opened the garage door and he flew out, started chirping loudly and continuously, until two bigger birds (mom and dad?) came and found him.

Also, we have a lovely robin's nest for the second year in a row in the same location. It is pretty darling to see the little baby robin heads peaking up with their mouths open for mom to feed them. I was trying to get a picture with the dad robin at the nest, too, but he kept flying off to find more food.
