We have been singing "In 1492, in 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492," everywhere we go lately (it's stuck in my 3 year old's head). She even demanded I sing it to the checkout lady at Target, which I embarrassingly obliged to avoid a bigger scene. Here are some pictures from our week of learning about Christopher Columbus. We have one more craft to do today to finish our unit, which is making a
telescope out of a paper towel roll.

We went exploring around our yard for 10 items that God made. Anna then drew some of the items on her "Exploring Journal." |

Her finished Exploring Journal. |

Anna's compass that she colored and then laced yarn through the outside holes. |

We traced, stamped, and stickered the word, "telescope." She loves using stamps and stickers and it was good letter practice. |
