Homeschool Preschool: A Peak into our Week with Homemade Play Doh and Turkey Craft!

We had some fun moments this week in our homeschool preschool! Thanks to another momma friend, I was given a recipe for homemade play doh and tried it out. It is so easy and frugal and smells yummy, too.

1 cup flour
1/4 cup salt
1 package of Kool Aid
1 cup boiling water
2 tbsp oil

Mix the dry ingredients. Add oil to boiling water. Mix with dry mix until it starts to form a tougher consistency. You can cool in fridge until more solid and less goopy. Play away! Store in airtight container in fridge.

We also made this hand print/shoe print turkey craft today, which I found off Pinterest. I'm having some friends over this weekend and wanted a Thanksgiving-themed centerpiece, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on something, so this little guy will be our centerpiece as well as some artificial leaves I found on 90% clearance at the grocery store. The feathers are Anna's hand prints and the body is made from her shoe prints.
