Yesterday, while in town getting groceries, I tried out the jeans deal at Target that MoneySavingMom.com had posted and I had some great success! I switched it up a little bit, as there weren't as many specific sizes in the jeans that I needed for my kids and I knew my daughter could use a variety of pants for the winter. I also got one of the jeans as part of a gift for my niece's birthday (in February mind you, because that's how I shop).
All told, I spent $15.96 for 7 items, including 5 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of leggings, and a dressy top for my daughter. That's about $2.28 per item. Here's the breakdown:
Girl's leggings were $8
Jeans were $3 each (40% off)
Dressy top was 2.40 on clearance
Used $5/$25 Target mobile coupon on kid apparel purchase
Combined with Target Cartwheel 20% off Circo toddler
apparel coupon
Plus additional 5% off with Red Card
= $15.96 for 7 item
I also got back a catalina coupon for $4 off a kid's shoe purchase of $12.99 or more! My little boy will likely need some new shoes in a few months when he outgrows his current size, so that should come in handy!
