Fru-Gal's Kitchen: How to Make Egg Substitute Using Ground Flax Seed!

Now that I know about this wonderful egg substitute, so many more recipes have been opened up to my husband and I! Try this easy egg substitute using ground flax seed the next time you would like to bake using a recipe that calls for egg.

1 egg = 1 tbsp ground flax seed + 3 tbsp warm water

Mix the flax seed and water in a small bowl. Allow the mixture to sit for a few minutes so it thickens. Use in recipe! Voila.

My husband is allergic to dairy, egg, tree nuts, peanuts, and some other random foods. Here's a look into my kitchen, as I cook frugally and allergy-free!
