November Food Drive? I'd love to hear more about your efforts! Here are the two bags of food I donated to local families in need, spending about $2 per week out of my grocery budget. I got several cans of corn and green beans on sale for $.33 each at a local grocery store. Also included: corn bread mix, boxed potatoes, soups, and stuffing.
Thank you to everyone who participated with me! It is such an easy way to bless the hungry when we allocate a dollar or two each week to donating food, especially since us savvy shoppers can stretch that dollar pretty far!
