Have you heard of Play-Doh mats? I hadn't until just a few days ago while surfing the web for homeschool ideas! I'm very excited about this new discovery, as it is such a fun, hands-on teaching method for preschoolers that uses Play-Doh as the medium to finish a task on a laminated mat (or I just stick the paper into a protective plastic sheet). Children can count (such as "add two butterfly wings to the butterfly") or trace letters/numbers with the Play Doh or just have fun creating.
