Easy Homemade Potpourri.

Sealed up for a week.

Deliciously scenting my kitchen, displayed on the windowsill.

Jesse's parents gave me a beautiful flower bouquet back in December for celebrating my 5th year since cancer. As the flowers started to fade, I decided to dry them... something I had never done before. So I hung them upside down, tied together with a rubber band, for several weeks. Then, I had an idea. I wonder if I could make potpourri? Well, upon a quick Google search, I figured out that it wasn't hard to do. Just place the dried flowers in a mason jar, add a few drops of essential oils (whichever scent you want), and leave sealed for 1-2 weeks. Open up the jar and display as desired. Voila, easy, homemade, sentimental, and free potpourri!

You could try this yourself with a special Valentine's bouquet or some other special occasion. Let me know how it works!
